Dear Reader,

I’m so glad you’re here. This blog will be focused on all things related to books. One of the most exciting things I’ll be sharing with you will be videos where you will get to meet the women in my book club. This group is a little unusual, since we each get to choose our own books to read, and when we get together we bring delicious food and share about different books we all may not have heard about. I can’t wait for you to meet them!

I’ll be posting book reviews, author interviews, and themed blog posts, which is probably one of the reasons we’ve connected. I’m an avid reader, and if I like a book I want to tell everyone I know about it. If you have read something recently that you loved, I’d love to hear about it, so please send me an email. After all, isn’t word-of-mouth the very best way to hear about good books?

It is my view that authors work incredibly hard, not only pouring themselves into their books, but, thereafter, the additional effort involved to get their work published, and find it’s intended audience. Therefore if, after finishing a book, I find that I don’t have lots of nice—or wonderful—things to say about it, I believe it is far nicer, simply, for me not to say anything about it at all. So please know that, when stop by to visit my site,(and I hope you will do so more, and more often!), you will only read or hear about books that I—highly—recommend!

Most of my blog posts are already planned. I’m looking forward to sharing reviews about a few debut novels that I’ve recently read. This year, I’m the chair for the STAR Award, an award for outstanding Women’s Fiction acknowledged by the Women’s Fiction Writers Association. I can’t wait to tell you more about the finalists, as well as take a closer look at the previous winners. After all, who isn’t interested in reading award-winning books?
